A Systems/Management Accountant is required to work on a fixed term 6-12 month contract for this Stratford based client.
Ideally, you will be part qualified, with proven experience of financial accounting on an ERP/integrated system.
The primary focus will be to assist with the implementation of new software. The project will be based on moving functionality from 2 separate systems Gen10 and Maximo into a single system with the general ledger.
The general ledger system will be upgraded to the next version – Business Central as this contains the additional functionality required to handle shipments. Experience of Navision or Business Central is an advantage, and a high degree of computer literacy is essential.
The successful Systems Accountant will have demonstrable experience of supporting or leading an implementation process for ERP type systems.
Duties will include:-
*General Ledger System
*Move from Navision 2017 to Business Central
*Set up automatic supplier payments with bank
*Integrate PO system (Maximo) with GL
*Move customer invoicing from Gen 10 to business Central
*Shipments – Set up within Business Central
*Cover for the Accounts team
*Periodically some month end tasks or support for the accounts team will be required to cover holidays / absences
